Chapter 01

We believe a handmade object should show the hand — not hide it.

Canebag began with a simple frustration: good weaving instructions were scattered, while beginner kits looked beautiful and explained too little. We are building the studio we wanted: useful bags, honest materials, generous instructions, and room to make a few mistakes.
